Manager, Information and Referral Services
As a member of the senior management team, this position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the 24 hour Information and Referral call center, as well as providing supervision and management to all program staff. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills to build a strong effective team.
Information and Referral Specialist (Homeless Hotline)
Responds to incoming phone calls, emails, and other forms of contact from callers seeking information on a broad range of community organizations, services, and other resources. Assesses callers’ needs, obtains and documents information and effectively utilizes the resource database to provide the most relevant, timely, and effective information.
Enhanced Family Diversion E1 Specialist
Assist Homeless Hotline in responding to the community by conducting in-person assessments and locating resources for families facing potential homeless situations within Franklin County.
Team Lead, Information & Referral
Assists Information and Referral Services Call Center in responding to the community by linking callers to appropriate resources. Conduct assessments of each caller’s situation and needs and provide appropriate information on programs and services that address those needs. Provide support to others in call center, including staff and volunteers, by executing trainings, coordinating staff meetings/trainings, addressing questions and concerns, and collaborating on department projects. Create and maintain a link between food pantries and HandsOn by acting as a referring agent to those entities in order to help alleviate poverty/hunger in the community.
