HandsOn Central Ohio knows that a strong nonprofit sector is key to a healthy community. With this in mind, HandsOn Central Ohio has formed a partnership with Otterbein University to offer the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program. This program will help you to compete in the marketplace by empowering you to manage nonprofits in the most effective way as the nonprofit sector faces new challenges.

With the demand for a new generation of leaders to step forward in the nonprofit sector, and the ongoing need for low-cost training for current and future workers, HandsOn Central Ohio and Otterbein University have announced a new partnership, beginning in Autumn 2013, to provide a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. Classes will be held at Otterbein's campus in Westerville, Ohio.
Participants can earn this non-credit certificate by taking courses one weekend a month for nine months, and completing a 65 hour internship.

Courses will be offered the second weekend of each month: Friday 6:30 to 9 p.m.; Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $525 per three-month module; or $1,675 for the entire program, including assistance and oversight with the internship.

Courses will be taught by HandsOn Central Ohio staff, Otterbein University faculty and administrators, and other local professionals.

Registration begins on this site on June 10.
