Service Above Self
Columbus Rotary, Columbus City Schools and HandsOn Central Ohio sponsor an annual High School "Service Above Self" Fair for students in Columbus City Schools.
The Fair is a celebration of our youth and their accomplishments for their school and community. The Fair supports the students in developing their community service projects throughout the school year. It also enables students to share their projects with more than 300 Columbus business and professional leaders every May in the Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The Fair aims to:
- recognize and honor the students who conduct community service projects
- encourage the students to identify and work on service activities where their time and talents will have the most impact, and
- use the examples of successful projects to motivate and inspire other students.
