Boardlink is an interactive, online tool that helps to match potential board candidates with central Ohio's nonprofits. Through the generosity of the Grace K. and Robert L. Rohe Fund of The Columbus Foundation, volunteers can communicate their areas of interest and expertise to nonprofits which are registered in the Boardlink program, and nonprofits in the central Ohio region can connect with a talented volunteer pool willing to fulfill their board leadership needs. Our goal is to register community volunteer leaders while providing an effective process for nonprofits to fulfill their board leadership needs.
How Does it Work?
For community members who are seeking an opportunity to serve on a nonprofit board, you may fill out a candidate profile online. Your profile will only be available to nonprofit organizations that have been registered with Boardlink. If a nonprofit is interested in discussing a board opportunity, they will contact you directly. Please respond in a timely manner to inquiries. If you are not interested, please notify the nonprofit.
If you are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit recruiting for a board position, you can register your agency online. Nonprofits can use our searchable database to find potential candidates to fulfill board positions. It is the responsibility of the nonprofit to contact potential candidates directly to discuss the board opportunity.
